    It should be. It sounds like a very good plan. Consumer Reports recently rated the Volumetrics Eating Plan as the best approach to weight-loss dieting. Simply put, for each food you look up or calculate the caloric density by dividing the number of calories in a serving by the weight of the serving. Then you focus your attention on eating more low-density foods than high-density ones. They fill you up sooner, so your calorie intake drops, and you lose weight. You can continue the plan indefinitely (after you get to your desired weight, just add a few high density foods to maintain it), so this diet has a good chance to keep you at your desired weight once you get there. There is a book available, "The Volumetrics Eating Plan", published this year.

    Remember though, so you can see the difference, photograph yourself before you start the program. Then compare 8 weeks later. It's very hard to see change in yourself as it is gradual. Much more noticable if you take before+after pics!

    Yep, that should do it. You will really lose weight on that treadmill and with a healthy diet - just make sure you stretch completely and eat a few hours before exercising to avoid sickness and injury.

    That is a great start! But in order to loose the weight and look toned you do need to do weight training. That is as important as the cardio on the treadmill. When you do the weight training you are toning the muscles underneath the fat that you are burning off on the treadmill. Don't worry, doing a small amount of weight training won't bulk you up. Try doing, 5 minutes of cardio to start, then a weight training session, then half an hour of cardio - that would be an ideal workout. Make sure you are stretching your muscles as well. If you don't know what to do with the weights..try and hire a personal trainer to develop a program for you, or if you cannot afford that or don't belong to a fitness club, but a set of hand weights and get a book from the library or fitness magazines. Yoga or pilates is also to do even just once a week - it will improve your flexiblity and is even a bit of a cardio workout. Goodluck :)

    that depends on your metabolism. if you have slow metabolism, then you will loose weight. but if you have a faster metabolism, you need to double your effort on exercise.

    It all really depends on person. The best way to know ur losing weight is sweeting and pushing ur heart beat.
