Ask:what 39s the best way healthy low-cal diet and exercise aside to lose weight quickly
2007-08-12 22:37:48I'm a 19 year old female who exercises 1-2 hours a day and eats extremely healthy. I'm not overweight at 5Ɖ and 105 lbs but I'm looking to lose 10-15 more lbs in a relatively efficient manner. I've tried diet pills before to no avail. I did have some weight loss success a few years ago with green tea but it was generally a very slow process. Any suggestions on how I can drop the weight without dramatically increasing my exercise routine or dramatically decreasing my caloric intake?

2007-08-12 22:48:31you trying to look like Nicole Riche? 5Ɖ" has an ideal weight of 107-140- depending on your body frame. If you starve your body and purge the calories you take in, your body will slowly begin to fight back and organs will begin to fail. Be safe and consult a doctor or a weight loss counselor to complete this goal- I predict that they urge you to not try to loose that much weight at your height.

2007-08-12 23:49:00at 5Ɖ" and 105 lbs you're at the lower end of the normal weight for your height. any less and you'd be considered underweight. chances are you might suffer from some body dysmorphic disorder if you are unhappy at that weight/size. crashing dieting or using diet pills at that age/weight could have adverse effects in the long term. losing weight quickly is not healthy and neither is being underweight. if you're trying diet pills in your already healthy and lean condition, you could seriously mess up the way your body functions and eventually gain back the weight and then some after stopping the drastic weight loss methods especially when they weren't supervised by a physician. my suggestion is to consult with a doctor and get their advice. you may need some form of orofessional counseling and information on anorexia/bulimia eating and body dysmorphic disorders. don't let these starving themselves to the bone skinny celebs influence the way you feel about yourself. at your age considering your extremely healthy diet/eating plan and workout regimen chances are, you are in great shape at the height/weight/shape that you are now.

2007-08-13 01:47:10Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

2007-08-12 22:50:26In my experience, to loose weight it is essential to cut down on carbs which is the same thing as sugar found in fruits, vegetables, pasta, and grains. The only alternative is protein. Do this for a while, and you might loose weight, however, do not consider this if you are already at a prefered weight.

2007-08-12 23:18:59Try incorporating the Glycaemic Index into your eating plan is surprisingly easy.
Eating a lot of high GI foods can be detrimental to your health because it pushes your body to extremes. This is especially true if you are overweight and sedentary. Switching to eating mainly low GI carbs that slowly trickle glucose into your blood stream keeps your energy levels balanced and means you will feel fuller for longer between meals.
oLow GI diets help people lose and control weight
oLow GI diets increase the body's sensitivity to insulin
oLow GI carbs improve diabetes control
oLow GI carbs reduce the risk of heart disease
oLow GI carbs reduce blood cholesterol levels
oLow GI carbs can help you manage the symptoms of PCOS
oLow GI carbs reduce hunger and keep you fuller for longer
oLow GI carbs prolong physical endurance
oHigh GI carbs help re-fuel carbohydrate stores after exercise
