Ask:Would a treadmill with no elevation help with weight loss
2011-08-11 03:00:19 +0000I purchased a treadmill but didn't realize that it didn't have an incline. I was wondering if it would help me get thin legs any ways? I was doing interval training on it, about 30 mins and was wondering if I started doing it again 5/6 days a weeks will it help? along with some squats, weight training Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. Will I get thin legs

2011-08-11 03:02:10 +0000Yeah, it'll work IF your interval training is intense enough. If you're really huffing and puffing, the treadmill will be fine.

2011-08-11 03:07:00 +0000Yes it won't target the butt as much, however you are still doing some form of cardio. You can not target fat...That being said you can tone your butt, add some muscles and loose weight faster...So best exercise to tone your butt is lunges and squats. It will tone your butt and do the same thing as running on an incline. Add squats and lunges trust me, you can use your body weight to tone, but make sure you are increasing your reps every week or month.

2011-08-11 03:12:47 +0000Yeah, of course that's fine! If you have the option of the incline then it's "easier" to make your workout harder, but it's not necessary. Often times high intensity exercise like that can increase your appetite, so just make sure that you don't start eating more to compensate without realizing it.
