2007-06-09 08:25:14Tons of cardio. The more you sweat the better. I use the elliptical and find it works best, but i suggest doing more then just one cardio machine and for 45 minutes or longer! To get awesome results you really need to be seriously dedicated!!!

2007-06-09 08:28:17Why not combine a few things like 20min row.. followed by a 15min.. cycle and end with a 10min.. run. The weight will drop of in no time then so long as you stay off the junk food :)

2007-06-09 08:39:10Any amount of exercise will help. However, intensity, rather than duration is key to weight loss. Pushing yourself hard for 20 minutes is far more effective than taking a leisurely stroll for an hour. Also, try to do intervals. Easy pace for a minute or two, medium intensity for a minute, then all out (sprint, really pushing yourself) for a minute or two, then back to easy pace.
I don't know what condition you are in, so if it has been a while, take it easy. Pushing yourself too hard could result in injury. I don't know why you aren't allowed to do weights, but keep in mind that the treadmill can be pretty hard on joints. The bike, elliptical, or stair climber may be your best bet.
