2007-06-02 06:45:20you sound like you are under 18 and if so you can go to the Health Department I believe free of charge. You can see a Health Care Provider who can give you information to lose weight SAFELY, perhaps give you vitamins, they will check your blood pressure etc. which is a smart way to approach "Dieting" to lose weight, because unfortunately, EXERCISE is part of it, dieting alone will not do it. If you can't get to a Doctor, here is my suggestion, I used to be very heavy and this is how I lost the weight:
OK, NO MORE FAST FOOD, AT ALL, NONE OF IT!!!!
No ice cream, mayo, SALT shaken on everything, NO more than 2 slices of white bread a day,(it turns to sugar, not good),
no fried foods, all the stuff you KNOW is bad is a no no......
eat lots of veg's, fruits, salads, and if you can't eliminate the bad food, LIMIT what you eat till you are satisfied, NOT FULL! eat little bits throughout the day instead of 3 large meals, AND GET OUT AND WALK!!!! walk around the block, start off maybe 1/2 time around and work your way up to 20-30 minutes......walking is one of the BEST ways to burn the fat.....
I personally guarantee, if you start doing that in just 2 weeks, you will see a difference, I promise you.....I wish I could put a before/after picture on here to show you......It will work, I swear, and if your young, that is great because it is Easier to lose it and Keep it off......best of luck to you, and p.s., you like YOU, don't lose weight cause your friends are skinny, you do it just for you! to make you feel good, the compliments will come after, you'll see!!!!!

If you don't exercise, you will find yourself spinning your wheels and regaining weight after it is lost. Get out and exercise!

2007-06-02 06:36:14As young as you are, I would think your parents would be VERY concerned about your health. You need to see a doctor and get put on a healthy eating and exercise plan.
For starters, stay away from all junk foods, sodas, sweets, etc (an occasional treat is okay, but they should not be part of your daily diet). Eat fruits and veggies, lean meats, and whole grain products. Watch how much you eat, don't eat until you are stuffed at every meal. Also, drink lots of water.
Additionally, start exercising every day. Play an active game, or take a walk, or bicycle, or whatever you enjoy doing that'll get you up and moving...start with whatever amount of time you can handle and try to work up to at least 1 hour a day.
You won't lose the weight quick sweetie, you didn't put it on quickl and you've got a lot to lose...but if you are diligent you can have a chunk of it gone by the time school starts again in August.

2007-06-02 06:43:04I did weight watchers for a while and lost 75 lbs. I have recently gained some back and I have gone back to the points rule. For every 50 calories I deduct a point. Each morning I start myself with 25 points. You may want to start at a higher point value than myself, like maybe start with 30-35 points. I was always overweight as a child, so I know what you are going through. Try this it really worked for me. Good Luck !!!

Drink water not soda. You need to cut back what you are eating. Take smaller helpings, than usual, and leave at least one bite of food on your plate when you are
finished eating. Don't take seconds. Read the nutrition
panels on foods. Look at calorieking.com for calorie counts.
Learn to measure your foods. It's okay to eat some pretzels,
just see how many is a serving--12 or 20? And eat accordingly.
If you have an adult in the house who is willing to help you,
use these guidelines: 3 servings of low fat milk, cheese or
yogurt daily. 2 servings of protein--meat or fish daily.
5 servings of fruit or veggies. (fresh is best) 2 Tablespoons of fat--butter or oil or salad dressing made with oils.
There are some sugar free things like jello or Popsicles
that have almost zero calories, and make a good treat.

2007-06-02 09:53:03you are the only one can help your self I think Lot of people are conscious how to do a diet it look silly some people star over eating and then with the time they realize they are over weigh and they going around asking everybody how can I loose weigh................I have three kids 5,5 high 103 pound since I was 15 year old I can say that I have the same body how did I do it it is not easy a glass of water when you are hungry, ............. my experience
