the best thing to do is go on a 2,000 calorie a day diet using a pad and pencil if you want to be safe that is . count your calories each meal write down your calorie intake at each meal. that is how my doctor put my on my diet.

most of them are safe, but in the long run the only answer to weight loss is changing eating habits, make a life change not a temporary fix. good luck to ya
