    get a pedometer and take 10,000 steps everyday.
    try trampoline. 5 min on a tramp = 30 min on a treadmill.
    here is what my dietician suggests - follow a practical diet. start your
    meal with a soup or a huge salad. this fills u up. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50% veg, 25% carb, 25% protein.this will prevent cravings too.an occassional treat is OK. have a snack every three hours. fruit (ideally berries) or soy nuts. just 2 tbsp of soya subsides hunger pangs. switch from white rice and bread to brown. eat 900gms of veggies a day.

    try going out for a walk for up to an hour a day and eat veg and fruit that should help

    If you live in a two story house or an apartment or something run on the stairs. It really helps. Just run up and down for about 30min. straight.

    Running - run like the wind!!
    It burns all over fat, tones you up *fast* and is the quickest way to see an improvement in your overal fitness levels.
    New to running? Then:-
    1) Buy proper running shoes from a running shop, not just any old trainers.
    2) Run on grass, concrete can seriously damage joints.
    3) Start off slow, a mix of walking then jogging. Eventually you'll reduce the walking so you end up running for 45mins solid.
    4) Running in dusk? Always wear a reflective armband - car drivers don't seem to see joggers!
    5) Always take a bottle of water, even if you think you won't need it.
    6) Any niggle knee pains? Stop running until better or you'll end up worse.
    Run 4 times a week, 45mins a pop and in around 3 weeks you'll notice a real difference in your size. Good luck!

    The best calorie burner is high resistance cross trainer, this can burn off 1,000 calories an hour. It is probably better to split this, doing 30 minutes on the cross trainer and a 30 minute jog, this will burn 800 calories an hour,but provide better balance.

    In my opinon, anything that keeps you off your butt. :P
    But running is always a good calorie burner. Also, household chores and yard work burns a fair amount of calories.
