I'm about 5Ɖ and weight 125lbs
My sister and my aunty and I are doing this little fun weight loss game.During the two months, every monday we will weigh ourselves. After when the two months is over, we will see who lost the most weight and the people who lost will have to give 50 dollars to the winner. So, the person who won will get 100 dollars!=D
so..yeah I really want to win this...Anyone have some good advice to loose weight???

Start a diet - any diet you find and like. I can suggest you Winter diet .
Play tennis or any other cardio - it can be just walk (5 km per day at the beginning), run, dance,swim
If you would like to continue - change the diet after two weeks - start new one, continuing exercising. The secret is the body not to get used with the particular diet
Do not give up if you do not lose weight as fast as you want. The body needs time to react.

2008-01-12 07:51:06i think this game could start an eating disorder for 1 one u. i mean, once you start associating weight loss with a prize, are you sure you are gonna lose that mindset after 2 months? often, people who seriously lose weight end up losing too much because once you get to your goal, it always seems like the number on the scale (if that's all you focus on) could still be smaller.
i think the only prize you should be aiming for is good health. if you do it for any other reason, the weight will most likely come back. but when you actually wanna do it to be fit, it could be a lifestyle change for you. and that's what u have to think of it is, not a temporary diet, but a lifestyle change. or seriously all your efforts will just backfire when you go back to doing what you did before the 2 months.

2008-01-12 07:53:26Well I recently contacted a counseling centre to talk about some personal issues. My counselor skipped both appointments she'd booked for me, then harassed me by phone for 2 weeks - calling me at all hours screaming at me. I reported her to the police who in turn advised her to stop calling me or she would face harassment charges. So she called Children's Aid and made up a false report about me.
Unfortunately, because the laws in Canada are so screwed up, Children's Aid must follow through with ALL reports, and will not close their investigation early. We are suing - and I've lost a LOT of weight in a very short time.
