    Honestly, the best weight loss plan is in developing a new way to eat. A balanced diet & exercise are the best way to go & will stand you in god stead over the long haul. Your doctor should be able to help you develop a healthy diet plan.
    What I did was to make sure that I ate three times a day...it may sound silly but actually eating 4-6 times per day - all small meals - is the best way to go. It keeps your body energized throughout the day. I eat whatever I want which, I know, sounds evil to most people who are struggling but I have managed to lose over 150 lbs. by doing so. The main trick is to simply keep in mind what you are eating & to train yourself to know when you are full. Here's a good example:
    When I go to a restaurant at this point, I know that I will have at least two meals out of the portions that are served. Sure, I could sit there & eat everything until I was stuffed but, what's the point? When I'm full, I'm full. I box the rest of it up & then, when I get hungry again later that evening, I can revisit the good meal. Either that or my husband gets a nice snack!
    The only major suggestion I can give you is to make sure that you take a good multi-vitamin when trying to lose weight & also drink a lot of water throughout the day. The water helps to drive any toxins out of your body & also helps to keep those fat cells from adhering to your hips :)

    Cut down on carbs, drink lots of water, excersise daily. If you have a walkable pet, take a short walk in the mornings before work. When you get home and eat, take another short walk. Maybe on Saturdays, take a family walk. Pack a healthy picnic to take with you. Walk to the park with your family and/or pet and have a picnic or a snack. When you get done, walk around or play with your kids. Note: I just thought of this. This might not work. Don't know. P.S. Best of Luck!

    eat whatever you want, but only eat when hungry, don't overeat though. + exercise ( fast walking best)

    Well I can help you there I work for LA Weight Loss in Clay NY.
