    Ok...I am 14 and I need to lose some weight...like around 15-30 pounds...can someone give me tips for losing it...

    Keep doing what your doing, Get up and Play! Stay active! Avoid too much Tv Or Computer! Also, watch what you eat. This is important, how you eat now will pretty much set a guideline on how you eat later in life. So only eat one cookie instead of two! Try fruits and veggies instead of chips and what not.

    A healthy way to lose weight is by splitting up your meals. Instead of having a large lunch, try taking that same lunch and splitting it into two. Have the first part at the usual lunch time and the second part in between that and dinner.
    When you get the munchies you can also drink some liquids or eat some fruits to hold off the hunger a bit. Avoid junk food...

    dont eat crap like chips and cookies and soda. get those out of your diet and replace them with fruits and water and juice healthy stuff. excercise at least 30 a day . that will help you lose weight fast. also you might want to eat smaller portions for your meals but dont cut off too much. good luck=

    Best bet is looking at your overall calorie intake.
    For example, if you want to be 125 lbs., you should not consume more than 1250 calories a day.
    Read the book Fit for Life, by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond. The book explains about a healthy eating lifestyle.
    You will eat lots of fruits and vegetables and protein as well.
    Eat to be healthy. Don't deprive yourself, or you will just backslide.
    Eat breakfast. When you stop and eat breakfast, you jump start your metabolism and it keeps you from impulse eating all day. Also drink water, herbal ice teas (without sugar) if you can stand it. Calories are everywhere and it sneaks up on you and the scale.
    Also, take a multi-vitamin for your age range. That will balance out any vitamins you are missing in your diet.
    I don't believe in sugar free because usually when you want something sweet, you are craving sugar.
    Be healthy and safe about it and be more active.
    Take walks with friends or dance or take a new sport if possible.
