As far as weight loss is concerned I will give my stock answer I am afraid, however it is interesting to see how close this is ( I have been using it for over 2 months), to a recent paper from University of California. They did a meta-analysis of all the work on weight loss over the past few years. ( summary) It showed that 2/3 of people who diet yo-yo to a higher weight, none of the faddy diets of diet pills work and that rapid weight loss doubles heart attack risk!
They seemed to suggest the only hope was modest calorie reduction + EXERCISE.

Type 'guaranteed weight loss' into google, you will find 1 1/2 million sites!
Look around you if ANY of these things worked would we be getting so overweight?
We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don't do. Calorie intakes in 1900 and 1950 were higher than they are now, we just don't use them up!
Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg. Drop to about 1,500 calories.
Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?
I have seen hundreds of questions with this same pattern :- I am fat, tell me where on line I can get this super diet or herbal/dangerous/illegal drug that I hear will fix it for me in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!
No fixes pal , less in more out, its the only way!

Let me warn you about this medication. The side effects are horrible:
oily spotting
oily or fatty stools
orange or brown colored oil in your stool
gas with discharge, an oily discharge
an urgent need to go to the bathroom
an inability to control bowel movements, or
an increased number of bowel movements.
Remember, you still have to diet and exercise. This is not a magic medication that will make you lose weight by itself. And these packs are going to be very expensive. Much more expensive than it was a a prescription drug.

Quick fixes don't work.
In fact the ones that do work for a bit are worse than not working. They cause yo-yo dieting and you will gain more in the end than you lose.
The principles of losing weight are simple. Exercise more, and eat better (note I did not say less). Following this principle and the determination to do this will get you where you want to be.
If you can't get your head around how to do this then the place to start is your head! Learn some new stuff, ask your doctor about healthy eating, try out some new recipes. Exercise daily, at least 20 mins every morning and build muscle as this will increase your metabolism.
The best thing I have found is things like Paul McKenna's book Easy Weight Loss or I Can Make You Thin. This will help with the motivation. And set yourself realistic goals. I have a spreadsheet with goals and rewards in pounds to lose and inches and I have never regained the weight I originally lost. I weigh and measure myself only once a fortnight, and on a Monday so I don't cheat at weekends!
