2007-08-19 19:16:27i'm notr fat or anything i would just like to loose some extra pounds. i don't really have time or the ability to cook much. i do drink a lot of water and i ususallly eat dinner at 11:30pm because i work from 4-11pm. so i do eat late. i run on the treadmil everyother day. so any tips i could use ?

2007-08-19 19:26:38stay away from sodas, energy drinks, ect. People do not realize how many extra empty calories they consume just in what they drink daily. a 12 oz can of soda has around 180 calories and 9 teaspoons of sugar in it. Sounds like you already do good with the treadmill so good luck!

2007-08-19 19:27:09I follow this plan in my day to day life - i dont eat Pasta, Rice, Bread, Noodles or Potatoes (etc) atall and fill up on Meat & loads of veg/salad - you get all you carb requirement for a healthy diet from the veg but it is the refined ones that caused me to bloat. I lost a stone and kept it off - I never felt deprived as i could eat loads of veg and if I felt like a slice of pizza I would have it - just not very often.
If you cut out the stodgy carbs you will see the weight come off & stay off!

and Exercise!!!!! I am a swimmer-and on a swim team- I swim 2 hrs. DAILY! u burn A LOT of calories, which you burn fat more easily, which you Can Do- easy too. I f you dont know/like swimming----Go run on a treadmill at the gym/health club, Do something active, and you will loose weight!!!!!!!!!!!!

2007-08-22 11:37:22Well the best thing is to do is stop eating so late. Your body is more likely to store the food as fat because your eating so late. Statistic say you should wait 3 hours after you eat to go to sleep so i suggest you eat be for you go to work and eat fruit when you get home or eat a very lite meal like a salad. The next thing is to increases your metabolic rate. one way of doing this is by walking at least 30 min a day before you eat in the morning, and another 30 min 3-4 hours later on that day. Also by increaseing the amount of omega 3 in your body will help prevent the storage of fat and absorb other toxins in the body. Flax seed oil is a great source and it come in pill forms to. There are also many other helth befits of flax seed oil. Cheak them at this site

And you can pair those with different kinds of easy microwave entrees that are pretty good for you- like Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine, or Lean Pockets. Also, it is important not to starve yourself because that actually slows down your metabolism and will make it more difficult to burn off fat once you start eating again.
In addition, if you want to get more trim, I would suggest some strengthening exercises, like lifting weights. Ask someone at the local gym what weights to do, and how many repeats you should do. (This is important because different ways of lifting cause different kinds of results) If you have more muscle, you will burn off fat more quickly.

2007-08-19 19:26:29I lost 35 pounds but i didn't eat. I don't reccomend not eating b/c it slows down your motabolism. But just try eating healthy since your eating so late at night. Try eating like a salad or something b/c they say eating before you go to bed is the worst time to eat. If you wanna slim down your stomach area just do like sit ups & crunches. But don't let your mind fool you. When I say this I mean you know how you smell food & it smells really good which makes you think your hungry. Well don't let that happen. Just make sure that you haven't ate for a little while so you know that your actually hungry.

2007-08-19 19:28:27Instead of eating 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, supper) eat 6 smaller meals a day, to keep your metabolism going. Cut your normal caloric intake down by 500-800 calories a day, and try to get some fairly fast past excerise in for 20+ minutes. When you get cravings for sweet things, have a fruit like some berries or bananas. Go to your grocery store and find snacks that have reasonable portions with low calories. Drinking water is good, so keep doing that. Also don't eat until your full, that's not good. Keep your caloric intake to about 1150-1550 calories a day to start with (since you're female)
If you get bored of water or if you have a tendency to drink a large amount of pop, try crystal light. Only 5 calories per packet, and it tastes really good! Too me tastes just as good as pop, just literally 40x less calories. Yes, 40x! (I know 40x seems alarming and unbelieveable, but thats because crystal light has like no calories 5)
