2012-02-22 04:44:50 +0000If i don't eat for like a week but exercise a lot will i lose weight? I know that if you don't eat your body goes into starvation mode, and you retain fat. but if you work out like everyday, will you lose wight then?

Big difference between skinny and healthy.dont forget that

2012-02-22 04:49:28 +0000Well what happens when you don't eat is like you said, your body goes into starvation mode. When your body does this it doesn't just burn fat, but also muscle. Eating also supplies energy, so if you didn't eat you would be constantly tired and wouldn't even have the energy to work out. Yes you would lose weight, but you would also gain it back 2x when you ate again. I have lost 80+ pounds by simply doing the most basic things like eating plenty of fruit and vegetables, drinking nothing but water, keeping my daily caloric intake at 1200 (1500 if guy), and working out daily for at least 45 minutes. Take my advice and just do it the healthy way. It's slower but more efficient

2012-02-22 04:50:27 +0000depends on your somatotype. are you endomorph, mesomorph, or ectomorph? probably endomorph, right? you have to eat. cut back on the carbs. don't eliminate carbs completely. vegetables, especially the green, leafy kind, are your friend. instead of focusing on weight training primarily, focus on cardio. if you're an endomorph, you have to work harder to burn fat. you can still weight train but you'll want to do more cardio. ellipticals are your best bet. walking helps. running is good but check with a doctor. i used to love running and jogging but my knee would kind of go out afterwards. i want to see a doctor about it but i don't think i can afford it.
