    so my mom and i are trying to lose weight this year. im actually 5Ƈ and weigh about 150 lbs, my mom is in her 180s and we're about the same height :/ i used to be really skinny before but i would never eat.
    anyway, i heard that i can lose weight by giving up soda all together, is that true?
    and, would it be healthy to snack on string cheese and peanuts and cashews that come in the little bags?
    oh, what are some good fruit smoothie ideas? :D i hate bananas btw lol

    It sounds like you are really unsure how to lose weight. You need to read some literature (scientifically-based) to understand why you gain weight in the first place. The attached source book is a must read for your mother and yourself. You can preview some of the book online before you buy it.
