Ask:What disease can cause joint paid and excessive cracking with weight loss and fatigue
2011-09-06 07:41:03 +0000Hi,
I am 28y male. Have had worsening symptoms for 5 years.
Doctors in my country are on very poor level and I am forced to search for help elsewhere,
5 years ago my joints started cracking and feeling more and more out of normal position, lost most of my muscles and strength. Did many many tests, the only thing confirming that there is something is that X-RAY showed some bone mass loss in my legs. One other thing I noticed is that my resting HR has dropped to 48. I am eating surplus of calories and still losing muscle. Every year I am about 6-7lbs less than the year before. Every few minutes I have to just bend a little bit to one side and my whole spine cracks painfully. After each cracking I feel that I could bread more easily.
Thanks for helping

2011-09-06 08:54:51 +0000A deficiency in iron and the B-vitamins causes fatigue.
A deficiency in vitamin A causes weight loss.
A deficiency in magnesium, B-vitamins, and calcium causes cracking and pain of joints.
You might want to get your nutrient levels for these checked up (the nurse will take a blood test to see if you are low in any of them). It's most likely a nutritional deficiency. I'm studying nutrition and your symptoms are typical nutrient deficiency symptoms!!!! You might want to take a vitamin B-complex supplement (has all the B-vitamins in it) and a magnesium supplement, daily.

2011-09-06 12:06:50 +0000It could possibly be what is called Progressive Muscular Atrophy where you lose muscles inspite of eating well. Try a dose of Plumbum Metallicum 30c and see if that helps. Plumbum Metallicum is known to help in such cases of Progressive Muscular Atrophy. It just might help u as well
