2007-05-21 03:19:22Im also going to buy a skipping rope as we r stepping into summer...ive got a rowing machine as well but for some reason i cant use it for more then 10 minutes it aches my body...i just jog everyday for a couple of miles but now that ive lost quite a bit of weight its becoming difficult to lose the extra pounds esp from my tumm and bum...any advice?

2007-05-21 03:30:55thats because your body is used to it now. if you want to lose more you got to exercise more. sit ups and crunches for your tummy for example and squats for your bum. if you dont want to join a gym then get a fitness or pilates dvd to give you ideas what to do. im not sure why the rowing machine is causing you pain though,its a good all-round workout. maybe your body just needs to get used to it

Get some sit ups done and bum raises for your bum you should tighten up in no time.

Rowing Machines are really great for losing overall body weight, but man, they are boring arent they?
Try cutting down your calorie intake, as your body needs less as you lose more weight, and try running for a bit longer, or maybe sprint for 1 minute and jog for 5, and keep doing that.
Just shock your body by doing somethign different. And yes, skipping is great for losing weight too.
