I remember hearing once before, that everyone has a set number of fat cells and that with weight gain (assuming its fat and not muscle) the cells just swell. So I assume that with wieght loss they just shrink and that would mean that diet pills don't technically get rid of fat they just in some form or another help the cell to not "swell"...of course i could be all wrong about this or at least partly!

Weight loss tablets usually don't result in fat loss..it is actually water loss. This is why the weight comes back on when you stop taking them.

Well the thing about diet pills, they only work for a while, then they lose effect and you will gain the weight back if you go back to not eating healthy/not exercising.
