Ask:When do I start to see weight loss

    2008-01-16 04:19:26

I started working out 2 weeks ago. I do 30 - 45 min, cardio. 20 min, weight lifting, and ab crunchers. At night I run about a mile outdoors. I'm 32 yrs old, and started out at 268 lbs 2 weeks ago, and I'm now down to 261 where I've been for about four days. I'm guessing my weight loss was water up to this point. I have great discipline with food, and drink lots of water. My only problem is I only eat 2 or 3 times a day. Usually salad, chicken, lots of vegetables, and fruit in between meals. I'm trying to stay around 1500 calories. When should my body begin to lose my belly?

You have to burn 3, 500 calories to loose 1 pound of fat. It should take about a week to deprive/burn that many calories. So a pound of fat a week is what you should see. However, the scale will fluctuate depending on hydration, food that has been eaten, whether you have had a bowel movement, clothing, etc. so it can be hard to see your results. Do weekly weigh-in, first thing in the morning before any food or drink, without any clothes for the most accurate weight. Unfortunately, we dont get to pick and choose where we lose the fat...it will come off wherever you genetically tend to store it. Eat more often for optimal metabolism and to prevent binging from being so hungry. Eat 3 small meals and 2 snacks. Be patient and keep up the hard work...you are on your way!!

I reckon your exercise routine is backwards, and you should be eating 4-6 smaller meals per day mate! Check out www.15minutefatloss.com

Keep up the good work. Belly fat is hard to loose. Diet is the key. be patient. after 1 month u should see results. u should start feeling more motivated now. make sure u are burning enough calories to how much u take in. u need 2 eat every 2 hours to keep ur metabolism up due to age,
