Any pill has an effect and may decrease the effectiveness of medications - your doctor may have to increase your dosage of the medication(s). Talk to your doctor about it :)

It's possible. I think one of the more interesting side effects though is "oily spotting." Which means if you cheat on your diet you may have a very awkward day at work. Save the money, just eat right and exercise. I'm currently trying to lose some body fat, I think cardio in the morning is helping the most. I' haven't lost weight, because I've been lifting quite a bit, but my stomach is almost completely gone.
