I was using this "diet" a few years back and it worked great. I say "diet" because everything anybody puts in their body is their diet. Read the Body-for-Life book...Bill Phillips supports you to get in the proper mindset to eat healthy and work out. Body-for-Life is basically this: a portion is the size of the palm of your hand / a meal is a portion each of carbs & protein along with veggies for lunch and dinner / eat 5 - 6 small meals a day / plan, set your goals, track your progress. Don't leave anything to chance IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN, YOU'RE PLANNING TO FAIL. Good sources of protein are fish, scallops, lean red meat, skinless chicken breast cut out butter, sugar, processed & fatty foods. some good idea for eating healthy and losing weight is to avoid breads. if you forget all about breads and crackers and stuff like that youll be well on the road to a slimmer body. bread is the key ingredient that makes your body store fat. drink milk. and its been studied that if you eat a handful of peanuts a day you wont gain any extra weight(sounds crazy but has ben studied) also, you could just focus on eating good food. stay away from SODAS and chips and candy. just resist the urge to snack on that stuff. focus on eating good foods. get full on vegetables and meats. eat fruit and stuff, as OFTEN as you want. like i say eat all of the good stuff and eat as much as you would like. youll notice a surprising change in your weight and attitude. exercise is good, but you want to focus on cardio. jogging is good for burning fat. it wont seem like much in the beginning but stick with it and it starts to kick it dramatically. just run as much as you think you possibly can. set a goal, around the block twice? 3 times? thats a good way to do it. make the laps short that way you could push yourself to do that one extra set. if its too long youll give up before youre even tired.
so.. eating right is one to to lose weight but you MUST exercise to take it to that next level. trust me it works. feel free to take a break from exercising for a week at a time as well. your body needs time to heal up after long workouts so once you get back in the game youll be at it better than ever!

You can also mix Limeade or lemonade in the blender with yogert for a smoothie. I also eat tons of watermelon! So good and no fat..

I have now progressed to 40 lbs lost and am maintaining while still occasionally enjoying all the special things like birthday cake and ice cream - just in moderation. My wife has also followed the diet and she is down over 2 sizes in her pants/clothes. We have also referred about 20 people to the diet and they have all lost and maintained. I highly recommend FatSmashDiet.com. The only thing I didnt follow from his guidelines was that I still drank coffee. I just drank healthy coffee instead. 2006-07-03 15:11:43chicken breasts, and veggies!!! I was 140 about 2 months ago. I strictly kept my diet of chicken breasts, veggies, and two pieces of fruit a day. Sometimes substituting a piece of fruit for yogurt. I currently weigh 132. Along with excercise (lots of cardio) and plenty of water!!! I want to get down to about 125. It's worked for me so far...Good Luck!!!

Raw food takes off the weight, though you should limit the oil and avocado and nuts if you are really overweight. You almost cannot overeat on this diet and it's delicious. The raw spaghetti in Cornbleet's book is amazing. Even non-vegetable loving friends eat this and can't believe it's not pasta but raw zucchini.

2006-07-03 15:20:37Eat a lot of protein, like chicken and tuna(salad), beef. Plus a lot of green vegetables. Do you like cucumber? Eat all you want, it contains water, that's it.
Don't forget to drink at least 3 of those little/normal bottles of water.
And in a vitamine store you can purchase protein shakes. It's a big container, for $30,-, it will last you a long time. Take a glass of milk, mix it with one scoop shake, and drink that 3 times a day. The shakes taste good, I love them, different tastes too. Ideal would be to take the protein shake after working out.
What else? Eat every 4 hours. Eat small amounts. Stay away from too much fat en sweets and pasta and white bread.
DON'T forget to work out, exercise. Walk, what ever, as long as you DO move! Ideal would be cardio, a lot of it :)

Limit your sugar intake, because these simple carbohydrates turn to fat quickly. Remember, exercise is the most important part of weight loss. Walking or jogging is great. Make sure you stay active.
Also, fish is a great food to eat.
