2007-06-18 10:03:25The side effect most disgusting is that oil leaks from your butt and you need to wear diapers.
Patients who took this drug lost about 1 pound a month. That's hardly any weight loss that all. That's the same amount of weight loss that you could experience simply by eating about a thousand fewer calories a week, which comes down to just a few cans of soda per week. That weight loss reversed itself as soon as people went off the drug, meaning they gained it right back.
Soiled underwear is one of the most common side effects of this drug. People actually spotted their clothes with uncontrollable anal discharges.

2007-06-19 13:52:55For one, Xenical hasn't lived up to its promise some doctors have found it to offer marginal benefit in clinical practice. At half the prescription strength, Alli is likely to be even less effective. Data presented to the FDA suggest that Alli works best in those who are very overweight, that it must be used in conjunction with a low-fat, reduced-calorie diet, and that results are modest. In clinical trials, severely overweight subjects who took the drug for six months lost about 5 pounds more than those taking a placebo. In a separate four-month trial, moderately overweight people lost about 2 1/2 pounds more than the control group. Benefits are also likely to be short-lived. Alli is marketed for short-term use only, and follow-up suggests that people start to regain weight once they stop taking it.

2007-06-21 11:55:30I have heard all about the side effects, and actually that is the reason WHY I am trying Alli! I suffer from chronic constipation, and have tried everything from high fiber to zelnorm. I have been on Alli for 2 days now, and have not had any side effects at all, I have not even had a bowel movement- so no diaper needed here!! perhaps that is due to the fact that I already eat a fairly low fat diet.

2007-06-18 10:29:05Alli is for you if you want to lose 1 pound a month with some nasty side effects. In the clinical trials that the FDA based their approval on people who tested it only lost 1 pound per month, that's barely effective in my opinion. It works by blocking some of the fat normally digested by the intestine. But the gross thing is guess where the fat ends up? The side effects include diarrhea, anal leakage, Fatty/oily stool, oily spotting, intestinal gas with discharge, bowel movement urgency, poor bowel control and headaches. Doesn't sound like fun to me, what are people suppose to do wear a diaper?
I suggest two all natural diet pills that are safe and have no side effects. They are Hoodia Gordonii and Cha de Bugre.
Hoodia Gordonii is a natural appetite suppressant derived from a South African cactus that the bushmen have eaten there for thousands of years. You need to make sure you get a strong pure hoodia that is certified to be genuine. I always recommend Totalink's unbiased Hoodia comparison at http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:ZE_...
Cha de Bugre, is a new weight loss supplement that is growing in popularity and is similar to Ma Huang (Ephedrine) without any of the bad effects. Cha de Bugre is from Brazil and has been used there safely for centuries. Cha de Bugre provides energy, fat burning and appetite suppression that benefit weight loss. Cha de Bugre also has additional uses that are known in Brazil that include being used as a mild diuretic, a cellulite reducer, aides in reducing herpes simplex outbreaks and a heart tonic. Hope this helps, if you want to know more about Hoodia I have written a lot of articles on it. Just search Yahoo or Google under my name ???Andrew Aitaken??? to find them.
Remember, you should always consult your physician before taking any diet pill or weight loss supplement.
