    Put your search engine to use and look it up. I'm sure there's a wealth of information on benefits and detriments (if any) to taking flaxseed.
    Here's one site I found very quickly (WebMD) that talks a lot about various benefits, but in my quick scan of the page I didn't see anything about weightloss. http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/benef...
