2006-04-03 15:08:42Green tea, celery, chilled water, Lean meat (protein boosts the metabolism and also food that contain calcium eg soya milk as a healthy alternative to milk which contains calcim. Try to vary your diet, avoid eating the same food - your body starts getting allergic to the food that you eat too much of. Also try getting an allergy test done to check you're not intolerant to a type of food eg wheat/ gluten etc.
Fastest way to lose weight (exercise wise) is to try and do 30 mins of aerobic at least 5 times a day or try Davina's power of 3 workout - if you do it 3 times a week I bet you a penny that you will notice a big difference within a month. Good luck anyway.

2006-04-03 15:03:41Reduce fat: Fats have more than twice the calories than protein or carbohydrate! Our body converts excess dietary fat to body fat. Therefore you should restrict intake of high fat foods. Learn to avoid fat in healthy diet.
Keep total fat intake between 20 to 35 percent of calories, with less than 10 percent of calories from saturated fatty acids and rest from sources of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids. Keep trans fatty acid consumption as low as possible
Limit sugar & alcohol: Foods with a lot of added sugar and alcoholic drinks are just empty calories. They provide little nutrients to our body. Alcohol slows down the body???s use of fat for fuel and the fat is likely to be stored in the body (Notice the fatty drinkers).
Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Water is without any calorie, filling and refreshing, and is a natural appetite suppressant.

2006-04-03 15:00:08since september I have lost 90 lbs, i eat the same thing every day! I eat 2 packets of instant oatmeal and i mix in 2 table spoons of Peanut butter, and some rasins, then i eat an orange or pineapple or some fruit in the middle of the day, then around 4 i make a big bowl or fresh spinach with 2 cap fulls of low fat salad dressing, half a cut up avacado, tomato, grilled chicken or shrip or some protien and i piece of whole grain bread toasted with Peanut butter.... thats all! dont eat past 6, dont drink soda EVEN DIET it makes you hungrier! It takes discipline but its worth it! Also work out at least 5 days a week for an hour a day! GOOD LUCK

2006-04-03 14:50:03High fiber/low fat foods are what worked for me. My problem now is that I've lost 115 pounds and can't figure out how to maintain it...I just keep right on losing! I eat a lot of food and never feel hungry, and I exercise regularly. It's just that I've replaced all the junk I used to eat with healthy, whole foods. Try to stick to things like fruits, veggies, low fat or fat free dairy, whole grains, and lean meats. I was amazed at how quickly easily the weight came off just by living a healthier lifestyle.
