2007-12-15 13:44:41Yes. I've lost 25+ pounds this year. Eat less. Cut your portions. Choose what you want to eat, not what you want to avoid. Start to substitute more vegetables for pastas, meats etc. Eat more fruits and vegetables. No soda, little juice, dark chocolate, no sweets.

When you go out to eat, eat only half your meal. Eat the rest later.
Eat often and move more. Drink plenty of fresh water.

2007-12-15 13:54:19contrary to above answers you can lose weight on dieting alone, it just always helps to exercise as well. I recently found isagenix which is a diet and nutritional cleanse package. 2007-12-15 13:44:59Eat natural, whole, healthy foods. Vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean proteins. Minimize sugary or salty processed foods like cookies, chips, and crackers.
Exercise at least 30-60 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week. Exercise should be intense cardio activity like running, brisk walking, biking, etc, and combine it with weight training to build muscle mass.

2007-12-15 13:44:02all i know is dieting does not work. not on its on anyway. cause you would always have to stay on that diet to keep the wight off which is unlikely. you have to exercise and this should be done after meals. get into a habbit of going to gym or going for a walk. start up a new hobby like maybe boxing to tone your upper arms and make exercise more fun

Also...run/walk/swim long distances EVERY day you can. The faster and farther you go, the better your results will be.
This is not that hard, and will make you lose weight.
