2008-05-26 06:19:23ive tired all sorts im a size 14 and 5f9 and i way 12 stone im quite big boned, ive tried hoodia weight loss pills but that dosent seem to be workin, i try and go gym as often as i can, id like to loose a stone or so, so does anyone have any ideas ???

2008-05-26 06:23:50take a fat burner and workout a lot at the gym. Also a good way of tracking what you eat is keeping a diary with what you eat and how many calories you have eaten. You always want to burn more calories then you taking in. Try a 1500 calorie per day diet. Also try to keep the carbs down. If you excercise alot you might not see a difference on the scale but you will in measurements, Meaning you might even gain a little weight because muscle weighs more then fat. you can also try eating 6 small meats a day instead of three big ones. I mean that by eating 3 "snacks" like gronola bars and fruit/veggies.

the secret to weight loss is burning more energy than you are consuming. Going to the gym is good but that needs to be coupled with lots of aerobic exercise (walking/jogging, bike riding, swimming) maybe get a buddy to help you keep motivated.
The other area you need to work on is nutrition. if you can afford it a trip to a nutritionist it's a good idea. if not try to cut down on fatty foods (especially those high in saturated fats), make sure you get enough dairy, iron and protein and remember carbs are you friends - you will need them to give you energy while you exercise......

2008-05-26 06:23:23the best and most effective way to lose weight is completely change your diet.. im talking 3 balanced meals a day and cut down snacking to healthy snacks. eat loads of fresh fruit and veg and limit the alcohol and fizzy drinks intake. you dont necessarily need a gym either you can just do more walking than usual, hope this helped! good luck =

I also eat healthy, drink lots of water and I work out alot.

If possible, it is best if you can exercise in the morning. That schedule will burn more calories. But, if it's just not possible, by all means..go ahead and workout in the evening. Every 30 days, change your routine and that will help! You could start by walking...working up to 45 minutes or an hour. Next month, you could ride a bicycle or climb stairs or other activity.

2008-05-26 06:24:19The low card diet is a quick and great way to lose weight. The bad thing about it is you have to cut out a lot of good foods but you lose weight quickly. You just look at the cards in everything. The usual limit for carbs on the diet is 20.
