It will vary from person to person as fat deposits are dictated by genetics.
I gain fat on my fingers and hands as my weight increases and I have to swap my rings around.

Yes it has fallen off , when its cold - I heard that a 7lb loss equals a size in cloths, so I guess there is a proportionate loss in finger size . Be happy if its a healthy planned weight loss go to the jewellers and get the ring re sized. ! and may be give yourself a treat !

Yes, i have a guard on my ring, it didnt make it smaller but the shape is like a v on the bottom and keeps if from sliding off. It helped me a lot it was $5 from the local jewelery pawn shop. When you loose weight you loose water weight first which could be enough then your face down, sorry boobs.

Yes your finger will shrink if you loose weight as your finger will become larger if you gain weight. In either case you would take it back to the jeweler and they would shrink it buy taking some of the ring away or stretch it which would make the band thinner and weaker. They can only stretch it so much though. Make sure when choosing a ring the band is a good quality and sturdy in case something like that would happen in the future.

Depends. I have skinny fingers since I was 120 pounds. I gain alot of weight. My fingers are the same. People say my skinny fingers do not match my body weight.

yes, I'm a jeweler and have to resize rings all the time for people who loose and gain weight. You can expect to loose about 1 ring size for every 40 pounds of weight loss. If you were ever a normal weight that will be your normal ring size no matter what.

it can do. my engagement ring started to slip around my finger, most annoying when typing or in cold weather when fingers seem to shrink.

Yes if you LOSE weight your ring size can change.

Hi yes it does, when I lost 4 stone my ring size went down 3 sizes - but worth paying the money to get them changed as feel a lot better after the weight loss.
