Ask:Does drinking water the way I do help with weight loss

I drink water excesively. What I mean by that is, I drink water all the time, thirsty or not. Full or not.
In the past 3 hours I've drank 9 water bottles. In the past 3 days I've drank 37 water bottles. I pee very often, which is part of the reason why I think its okay, as long as you let the fluids out there should be no problem. I usually take 3 cold water bottles with me at a time, and put 3 more in the freezer, then I drink the current 3, before the other 3 freeze, and I repeat that while watching tv or something.
I'm also running alot, daily and exercising, I know this will be the main cause for weight loss, but I'm just curious if the excesive water/ peeing helps more than the average water drinker?
Also, what are the benefits of drinking alot of water? I have some minor acne, will drinking water help that?

Thats a great habit you have, you'll live alot longer, have better skin, your whole body stays young
but no water weight isnt actual weight. If you stopped drinking so much for a week youd notice that your weight would drop by 5-6 lbs (assumption) but youd still look the same, just less bloated. Just imagine when you run a sponge under water, it appears to have an identical volume as it did dry.

Drinking too much water can cause blood thinining and water retAin. therefore gaining weight. You drink water very good though. Just enough. Benefits include lubrication to your muscles and being hydrated. The water may help because it thins out oil that makes the Acne. i am not entirely sure im sure someone will correct me if im wrong.

By filling your stomach up with water, you can somewhat suppress hunger. Which will cause you to take in less calories, which can put you in a deficit, which can lead to weight loss. Nine bottles in the past 3 hours sounds a bit excessive.
How about instead of drinking so much water, you count calories and macronutrients to lose weight?

actually a college class i took says that drinking ice-water helps burn calories and yes, you are correct, as long as the fluid is coming back out...you are fine :) and as long as you do not excessively crave water...i do not see the harm in drinking lots of water, just be sure you are not "washing-away" the potential nutrients and vitamins that you are taking in...because your body needs those more than water :) so....maybe drink less water while eating..to be sure you get accurate nutrients :)
