2008-05-31 10:38:16I'm only 15 but im over weight and I'm tired of it. I need someone who can provide me with good, healthy information. I'm not educated on weight loss, and I think that if I eat after I exercise theres not point in excersing. I know thats not right, but I dont know the right way to look at these things. If someone could help me that would be great.

2008-05-31 10:43:38Sorry, there's no "easy" way to lose weight. You need to have the serious determination to do it right or you will never lose the weight. You HAVE to exercise and count calories, eat properly and sleep at least 7 to 8 hours everyday.

Anything that gets your heart going is good =)
Eat only low fat food and stay of anything that is hight in fat and calories (the packets always supply this information)
Being a vegetarain is also very good for losing weight but make sure you have quorn instead so you get the right vitimins etc!
REMEMBER - don't starve yourself or skip meals as you will only end up gaining weight or getting ill and don't try and lose it rapidly as again you will make yourself ill!

2. start brisk walking 40-60mins a day...get a dog or 2 if you find your walking routine boring..or if you are at a gym,experiment all forms of
cardio available and stick to all that you like
3. drink only water,100% natural/fresh fruit/veggie juices,lowfat milk and lots of green tea
4. severely limit carbs n fat but eat lean proteins and veggies very well..make sure you eat a good breakfast!foods generally that aid fat loss-
fruits,oatmeal,milk,raw nuts,fish,beans,veggies, small chunks of dark chocolate and herbal teas.
5. do adequate amounts of pilates/yoga/strength training to get the best from your cardio,make slight adjustments to your workout routines
every 2 or 3 weeks to avoid plateaus
6. be smart when eating out or at events/functions(such as preparing your own meal & eating in advance)

2008-05-31 10:44:08there is no quick way to lose weight, u have to be patient and willing to work hard. in the morning if u get some good cardio in (30-45) almost non stop, that is the best time cause it burns straight fat, eat 5-6 SMALL meals a day so breakfast like a bowl of just oatmeal with a tad bit of brown sugar but not much then have a mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack, and dinner. this keeps ur metabolism running all day long. then weight training does good to, u dont have to bulk up by doing a lot of weight just do light weight at high reps and by the end of summer ull be good to go ha
