    Ok, first of all...weight loss should not be fast. The healthy way to lose weight is about 1 pound...MAYBE 2 pounds a week. Starving is not the way to go, nor is losing too much weigh at once. What happens when you lose weight quickly is that your metabolism slows down. Then, there's the risk of yoyo dieting, where you go up and down up and down. Each time, losing weight is harder and harder because your metabolism has slowed down so much.
    The way to lose weight in a healthy way is to eat little HEALTHY meals throughout the day. Make sure you eat breakfast so you don't binge eat in the afternoon. But throughout the day have little snacks like fruit, veggies, etc. Your body will burn up those calories easier than one or two big meals with many calories.
    And, of course, be sure to exercise. If you haven't exercised in a while, start of slow at your own pace. Be sure to have different types of exercise, too. A couple days a week have something that will really get your heart going like running or biking. A couple days a week try some aerobic exercises like those that are posted on the fit channel (fit and exercise channel or something like that). Then, be sure you have those couple days where you do relaxing exercises like yoga or pilates.
    For little things you can do throughout the day. If you're on a break from work, spend it with an aerobic walk. When going to a store park a distance away so you have to walk farther. When you're sitting in your chair tense your stomach muscles up. There are little things even during the day that will help you in the long run.

    Nothing comes without hard work, and dedication. What you're really looking for is a lifestyle change.
    Train every day (yes every). Train HARD about 5 of those days. Get the volume of training into the 1 - 2 hour daily range. Make it something you enjoy.
    Eat clean all the time. No junk food, no sugars (especially fruint juices), use articifial sweeteners. Limit portion sizes.

    Try to eat more veggie in your diet. and less carbs.
    Also, the best way to lose weight is the good ol' running. My brother was large and after i forced him to join the cross country team, he became a lot skinnier. Nobody recognized him. He ran for about half an hour each time he ran with the team. The team practiced about 3 days a week. and he did it for about 3 months.
