		<description><![CDATA[My vet advised me to change my dogs food because hes overweight. Its been almost a month and he gained a pound. His old food was really nutrient and now his food is alot of filler. I know a pound isn&#039t much, but after almost a month and increased physical activity (2-4 hour hikes every week, plus walks daily) i was expecting the scale to go the other way. He didn&#039t eat anything extra (we were really strict!). He had his thyroid tested a year ago, and came back fine. My vet is out of town til next week and that is when i am due to see him, but i am curious if it just takes awhile to get used to the food, or something. This diet food is expensive. 80 bucks for 3 weeks of food. I feed him exactly as the vet instructed. I am really concerned because from last august to april he gained 15 lbs so we put him on this diet. Gaining a pound in a month isn&#039t terrible but... I want him to be healthy!tammy43m... I would do situps every day, run, and watch what you eat. Adding a splash of cranberry juice to your water will help you get rid of any bloating however it will not get rid of fat of love handles.
