SO i've been watching what I eat fairly close. I've been eating a lot more veggies and fruit also. I know most of the things i should be eating, but this is my question.
What are some lunch or snacks foods that you have found that keep you on track and help with your weight loss.
I have about 100 lbs to lose.
    Any suggestions.

If you are looking for a great new diet program, I can't recommend Strip That Fat enough... it is top rated at http://www.dietandfitnessreviews.com It shows you honest ways to lose weight but the best part is that it comes with a diet generator. you type in the things you like to eat and build healthy meal plans around that. it makes things really easy

I have one big suggestion that will always work - PORTION CONTROL.
You need a calorie deficit (burn more than you take in) to lose weight.
Reduce your intake and reduce your weight.
Eat sensible portion sizes of healthy foods and treat yourself to VERY SMALL portions of your favorite treats and you won't feel deprived.

good foods turkey sandwich on wheat tuna in the tin is the best protein source i say high protein cuz that's the best kinda food you can eat to keep u full satisfied so u dont eat as much u need to balance dont eat too much fruits they arent that great for weight loss good to have first thing in the morning and after a workout though apples on the other hand are good anytime veges are great anytime protein sources lentils beans turkey chicken (white meats) extra lean 99% lean hamburger no less 99% lean steaks tuna shrimp salmon those are good protein sources oh and egg whites and whey protein supplement and cottage cheese (fat free)
fats u need some fats almonds nuts dont get roasted though roasted are BAD FOR U salted is okay but roasted no get cocktail peanuts and regular almonds natural peanut butter olive oil fish has good fats
carbs dont go low carb persay have 1g carbs per g of protien u eat and 30% of the fat so i say 150g protein a day 175g carbs a day and 30g fat comes out to enough cals dont count cals count macronutrients
good examples kashi go lean cereal skim milk has carbs fruits veges brown rice kashi bars i recommend for snacks "pure protein" bars they are a brand i strongly recommend

so for lunch tuna turkey w/e chicken on wheat bread and skim milk
snacks apples kashi bars kashi cereals natural peanut butter and whole grain crackers nuts stuff like that hope i helped =)

well it sounds like your doing good so far! ive been thinking about this myself as i put on alot of weight for my pregnancy and lost it 5 years ago and did the same thing this time around! so i need to do it again about 60 lbs. my advise i was given by my doctor then that resonated me through all the cravings was 'a little hunger never killed anyone' eventually your stomache and your brain will get that you mean business if you stick to it. as for snacks i would recommend having a drink of water first before every single snack! about 5 - 10 minutes before, this helps to determine if you actually should have a snack or not and gives you time to think about it!, ..things like rice cakes, yogurt(i like the splenda ones), sliced celery/carrots/ sweet peppers, oatmeal(i like the individual ones), home baking like banana bread, i like smoothies with frozen tea or coffee/honey/milk and a banana or other fruit, i use honey whenever i can instead of sugar BUT think that the fake sugar crap makes cravings worse so i recommend picking sugar over the substitutes(except splenda), as for lunches i think getting an even protein/carb balance is important and stick to light cheeses, and meats like ground turkey hope that helps
