2008-01-19 21:11:28every time i try to eat less. i seem to eat more. and everytime i try to workout. i end up not doing it after 3 days. i really want to loss weight. espeacially my friends are all skinny. and people now a days are so judgemental. what should i do!.

I'm fourteen and I've taken diet pills. (Stackers and Green Tea pills), and it never effected me in a negative way.
However, I wouldn't recommend it to someone else my age, because obviously every one's immune system is different and some people can handle more effect stuff than other's.
A doctor would automatically respond with a "no", I'd assume, but like I said, it didn't hurt me. But always keep in mind that every one is different.
Also, I used to be the same way, I couldn't stay on a healthy diet for too long. I've pretty much managed it well this time, because I prayed to God and asked him to help me and send me will power.
Drink lots and lots of water, it'll help kill the hunger.
As far as the too lazy to exercise, I don't know what will pull you out of that! =/

I understand your worrys im 16 i lost alot of weight and feel good its easy these simple rules will help you shed atleast 2 pounds this week.
.1 Replace full fat milk with skimmed (Same Calcium intake as in full fat milk).
. 2 Cut out sugar use sweetner granulated is preffered
.3 Cut out brown and white bread stick to wholemeal
Portions make sure you have portions dont pile your plate up like for Example Your fist should be a jacket potato.
I know its hard to feel pressured when your friends are skinny but dont let make you feel uncomfortable this is about health not looks its your choice remember type in google BMI calculator and write in your weight and height it will tel you if your overweight.
My tips are very healthy indeed
Doing 30 minutes swimming will help make it fun bring a friend and race them 20 laps or something it will help you sleep better too,

2008-01-19 21:51:44First of all you should focus on being healthy. Not everyone can be skinny and there are plenty of skinny people who are not healthy. Understand that weight loss isn't about crazy dieting or pills. Its about a lifestyle change. My suggestions are:
Consider what you eat as well as how much. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Avoid fast food (McDonalds, BK, taco bell, etc.), junk food (potato chips, pretzels, dougnuts, pastries, etc) and reduce your consumption of red meats.
Working out is good but it is more important to be active. Do more walking. This might mean walking instead driving very short distances or getting off the bus one stop earlier and walking the extra distance when the weather is good. Engage in activities with friends that involve physical activity. Take tennis lessons, martial arts classes or some physical activity of interest and don't worry if you don't do as well as other people. Compete only with yourself.
Avoid excessive sleeping and avoid eating foods that cause you to feel sleepy afterwards. Typically foods that are high in sugar can cause this.

2008-01-19 21:20:34diet pills are a waste of money and unhealthy they won't do anything - see a nutritionist, and join an activity that you like instead of the normal workouts maybe a sport, exercise class, or long walks with a dog everyday. Eating healthy, and keeping active is the only way to REALLY loose weight.
