    I've been trying to eat healthier lately and have been tracking calories. My calorie intake is higher now than before, and I've noticed that the calories are coming from foods like yogurt and fruit. Also, I don't get full, so I end up eating a lot more food= more calories. So even though I'm eating a healthier diet, it seems like I won't lose weight. Please help me figure this out!

    its all about calories in vs calories out.
    all you eat is being converted into energy inside your body and only if you dont use all of it stored in fat reserves.
    low cal and low fat is rarely the best choices - body needs healthy fats from e.g. nuts, avocados, fish.
    in food nutrition info look for less trans fat, sodium, cholesterol, carbs (especially sugar) and for more dietary fiber and protein which will make you feel full longer.

    Calories are the only real factor is pound for pound weight loss. A pound of fat is between 3000 and 4000 calories. A gram of fat is 9 calories. You eat 5000 calories a day, and burn 4000, in under a week, even if you don't eat ANY fat, you'll gain weight. If you burn 4000 calories, and eat 3000 from about a pound of butter every day, you'll still lose weight. Calories are the only thing that matters.

    you must definately restrict the calories
    think about it for a moment if you were to be on a diet that only worried about the fat then you could eat loads and loads and loads of sugar it may have no fat BUT YOU WOULD GET FAT
    so watch the calories instead and help this along by using low calorie products
    some low fat products have more calories in them because they are full of sugar

    yeah low fat is what you don't want, calories are what give you energy and keep you feeling good all day. Getting rid of fat will lower your body FAT percentage which will make your skin tighter and you feel better which your calories will give you the energy to do. = hope i helped ya sum

    By going low fat you are essentially going low calorie. Fat has three time the amount of cals than carbs. If you are having a problem getting full, then you should try just eating really vry slow. Pay close attention to what your body is telling you. WHen you even start to feel just a littler bit full then you need to have the will power to stop eating.
