The plan shows you true portion sizes, lets you eat from all of the food groups, so you have a very balanced diet and most importantly you can enjoy desert! My sister in law is a jazzercise instructor and she uses the plan for healthy eating.

Plenty of cereal, muesli, bread and hot pasta and, of course, nuts such as almonds can all be included in a vegetarian diet. Fruit and vegies alone is not recommended.
You need to do some research and searches of the type "vegetarian diet" + health may help to improve your vegetarian diet if you wish to persevere with it or modify it.

2007-05-29 18:42:05To look and feel your best, you need to eat a balanced diet. Eat 5 times a day. That includes a mid morning and afternoon snack. Try and go 40/40/30. protein/carbs/fat. Follow something like what is outlined in the book Body for Life or The Zone. It lets you eat real food and you won't go hungry.
