    I have decided to try to lose a few pounds but have no clue what I should be eating. I hate to and therefore never cook. I eat hot pockets for lunch and Mcdonald's for dinner usually. So I need good fod ideas for my new weight loss plan. But it has to be fast easy stuff. Like Natural foods (besides all the fruits and veggies) and wrap ideas and what kind of wraps I should use. And if there are any processed foods that are less than terrible for me. And just for the record I am not a big chicken fan. Except for processes chicken slices which I am sure are not healthy :o) Any other tips you have are welcome. I really want to succeed this time. Excerise ideas would be welcome too as I plan to start one of those as well. I understand I need both healthy food and excersise to lose the weight and keep it off. That is why it is so important to me to make it as easy to fit into my lifestyle. So i'll stick with it, so any loss will be for life.

    I think that this is a battle you will face for a lifetime unless you decide to change your lifestyle. Hot pockets and McDonalds are not good food choices. You have to prepare your foods.
    Simply eating fruits and veggies everyday require some thought. Go to http://www.mypyramid.gov and find out what you should be eating everyday. How you choose to prepare those foods is your choice- simple cooking techniques are easy to learn - and a salad with no-low cal dressing, a piece of fruit, and a container of yogurt, is as simple as anything to fix for lunch. Learning to eat fish is a lifeline to maintain weight loss.
    Make sure you buy at least 3 servings EACH of fruit and vegetables for each day. No cooking involved!! I make sure I buy 21 pieces/servings of fruit every week.

    For the beginning you must have desire and discipline.
    I do not abstain to eat nothing, but if today like to eat pizza, so, then the following day I eliminate the fat meals., enough fruits and vegetables and combining it with water and something of exercise. Good luck and ciao then :-)

    Lettece wraps are good! Lettece with a variety of vegetables, crushed nuts, and if you like a little bit of meat(grilled or rottisserie), and a light dressing. As for excercise, walking or jogging everyday & around 20 push-ups & 50 crunches.

    Some great answers above there. Just to repeat it again: definitely write down everything you eat - you won't believe how fast calories add up. Don't share it with anybody so you won't be tempted to make it look better than it actually is - this is just for you to keep track. Keep the records in one journal so it's easy to compare. If you cannot write it down right away - don't eat it - you will forget to add it later for sure, plus you must be in a hurry - don't eat in the hurry - usually people make bad choices when they rush. Be careful about energy snacks and drinks - so many calories! If you eat enough fruits, veggies, and whole grains - you get all the energy you need. Read labels - always! Calories from fat should not be more than 30% of total calories, ever. Only lean meats, no processed foods, ever. Eventually you will be able to tell how much calories you had, and will get used to eating smaller portions without writing everything down, but not for at least first 3 months. Good luck!

    Hey pinky. This is really tough cause all of the foods that help you loose weight and shead body fat really aren???t the best tasting. The secret is take those boring bland foods and make them into something tasty. Its all about imagination. Here are the healthy foods to start with. Chicken breast boneless and skinless (your favorite) lol, light tuna in water, turkey breast, anything with loin so sirloin steak, ground sirloin in a hamburger, pork loin, lunch meat low in fat, peanut butter, mixed nuts, fat free cottage cheese, fat free yogurt, eggs. Fat free everything milk, cheese u name it fat free. 100% whole wheat bread, pasta, oatmeal. No processed foods. Their not good for weight loss. Try eating breakfast if you dont already. Most people who don???t eat breakfast tend to want to loose some weight. 5-7 small meals a day. Some people think that if they only eat one meal a day they will loose weight you may but the weight you loose wont be fat. 5-7 small meals a day keeps your metabolism up which will help you loose weight. Now about the food. Doesn???t sound too appealing huh? I have some decent recipes that are pretty quick if you want them let me know. Try cardio such as running, or a elliptical machine. Strength training. Light weight lots of reps it will help you to elevate your heart rate and burn fat. Their are lots of places online where you can learn new exercises and develop your own workout plan that you will like to do. Just remember try doing over 15 reps and you will be fine. This is just my oppinion so before your start a diet, supplement or workout plan you should consult your doctor first. Good luck to you.

    Eat salads with hardboiled eggs on top, the salad you do not have to cook and the hardboiled eggs just take 10 minutes of boiling to make
    Stop eatign white bread it is basically a sugar slice
    Eat celery, brocoli, and carrots they have negative calories (meaning the calories they have are burned by digestion)
    Reduce you ammound of processed sugary cereals
    DO NOT drink diet pop, look up the recent study done on how it causes weight gain ( i am a living witness to the weight gain)
    and most of all GOOD LUCK and Don't give up! I am trying to loose weight too!

    being an athlete i hope this will help you.
    when trying to lose weight start by ditching the fast food.
    then i would say if you cant eat the healthier stuff.
    avoid pop gradually dont just stop but slow reduce the intake of pop and increase the water intake. then for food i would say eat 5 smaller meals every day instead of 3 big. this keeps the body with a fresh amount energy to burn calories. for exercise i would say start slowly. may a 10 min walk for a week then increase either the time or the number of walks you take. if you want join with a friend so you can take about things as you walk because its easier with a friend helping you. i would try the slimfast type stuff for one of the five meals a day along with a vitiem.
