I want to lose weight even if it not really fast, but the faster the better. i have fat in my stomach, thighs, and chest. i need a list of foods to eat and foods to avoid, besides fruits and veggies which i already eat. I also need an exercise plan to go with it. I wont have a problem sticking to it either. Thanks for your help.

2007-09-06 18:37:29i had this weight loss plan but i don't know if it will work for you because it's quite troublesome, as in you got to count your calories and such. but i lost about 10 kg (22 pounds) in 2 months so i thought i'd share this with you.
1) eat regular meals. make sure it's 3 regular meals at regular times. this is to let your body adjust to having food at a fixed time and therefore increase your metabolic rate so you're burning fats even when your body is at rest.
2) drink lots of water. for your build you need about 3 to 4 litres of water, and if you exercise you're gonna need more. this is to reduce your % body fats by flushing them out with water. this is very important.
3) assuming you're exercising 1 to 3 times a weeks, and the max you should lose a week is actually about 2 pounds. that means your daily intake of calories should be about 1670 cal. that's about 919 cal (230 gm) of carbs, 251 cal (63 gm) of protein, 501 cal (56 gm) of unsaturated fats. so make sure your meals consists of all these. it's not about cutting down carbs or fats. your meals should be colourful and balanced. of course cut down on deep-fried foods or food that are too oily. for now. maintain a healthy diet while you're still losing weight so you can see results faster.

2007-09-09 14:32:34Wow, yeah, I agree with some of the other answers here... if you're looking for something fast or effective, no one is going to be able to give you a direct and sure-fire answer. There are so many factors in losing weight that it's inconceivable to think that someone can tell you exactly what works. Metabolism, daily eating habits, excercise, and about a billion other things can determine how fast or effeciently someone can lose weight.
Whatever you do, and your doctor can confirm this, you have to make a life-long decision to keep your body at its proper weight. Weight loss dieting rarely works because typically people cannot commit their entire life to one specific set of foods. Excercise is absolutely important, but sometimes that won't even take you where you want to be. You have to figure out what works best specifically for YOUR body, and stick with it. Likewise it needs to be reasonable. Good health is important, so if you're serious about making a life-long commitment to good health, you're just going to have to feel your way through the process.
Remember this... your body is made up of all the foods you have eaten within the last 6 months. If you're not satisfied with your weight, then this is a good place to start taking note of what NOT to do. From there it is all just trial and error.
