2011-10-14 01:01:27 +0000What is the best weight loss (like protein bars/shakes and stuff..) brand or program to use that is offered in grocery stores. I don't want to do jenny craig or anything serious, but I always see the combinations of shakes and protein bars, could you do a diet eating only the food offered by the company? Does anyone have experience doing a diet eating only protein snacks like these, and did it work?

2011-10-14 01:13:14 +0000That's actually a pretty bad idea. If you only eat those 'foods' you'll become pretty malnourished. You can maybe replace regular snacks with those things. If you were to replace any meal with that, let it be lunch. And only lunch.
Just make your regular meals healthier. Count your calories. If you're already eating healthy, then a diet change will do little for you. You'll absolutely HAVE to add an exercise regimen to lose weight.
But if health is not an issue for you, and you just want to lose weight yeah, go for it. You might lose some weight eating only diet bars and shakes. You'd lose even more by only eating fat free / low cal foods like tuna. Absolutely not healthy, but you'll lose weight.
