2008-01-31 07:47:20it's really stupid, basically the side effect is from the fat being blocked and exiting the body, so if you eat too much fat you'll get that horrible effect, so the key is to only eat 15g or whatever it is every day.
But, if that happens after 15g, and you have to limit what you eat anyhow, why not just diet and limit yourself to 15g a day and then if you go over you won't have to deal with that, and if your under it makes no difference, unless of course you like to torture yourself for making a dieting mistake, in which case Alli is perfect for you!
Your body, do what you want, I would recommend a much.... more conventional choice.

2008-01-31 07:42:38I take it every day, and I control how much fat I eat. I have not had any problems from taking it. Just watch how much fat you are eating, and Alli will take care of the majority of the rest you ingest. I have lost almost two sizes in 3 months.

2008-01-31 08:14:31I agree with the gentleman who said to just limit your fat intake to 15g a day. I actually know someone who takes Alli and they had accidents(lol) We laugh now, but who wants to relieve on themselves at 30 years old just to lose weight? So if you can stand that about the pill, then by all means, but I recomend that you just get on a good nutrition regimine and watch what you eat, oh and exercise, even on the pill you need to exercise. Walking is great and drinking water is the best!

2008-01-31 07:50:04Have you ever consider exercise? There are dozens of diet programs out there but you rarely see one that stands out above the others. Sure there are successfully ones but even still that means starving yourself or getting rid of excess weight by some chemical process like pills. Exercise is naturally and proven. You'll be burning off the weight and getting healthier in the process.

2008-01-31 07:46:12the fat that it cuts has to go / come out of somewhere... the main down fall is that you practically have to wear a diaper since the fat is going to come out randomly.

2008-01-31 09:22:01A lot of hearsay here. There are hundreds of mostly positive reviews on amazon . com (from people who have actually USED it). I think that most side effects occur only when you consume too much. In fact it is a 15 gram limit PER MEAL not day. I beleive that it can be a powerful motivator for people who have diffuculty sticking to diets (especially considering the possible unpleasant side effects). It does eliminate 25% of the fat you eat from your body undigested. I have not tried this yet, but I recently ordered it and I am following a strict diet and exercise plan already. i am hoping that it will be an way to take off a little extra weight. After reading all the positive reviews on amazon i am fairly confident that it is worth a try, a lot of people even claimed it was worth the couple 'accidents' they had. Defiently need to make a lifestyle change in general, or you'll never keep off the weight. Its not a magic pill.
