Hey, my name is Alexis and I am 14 years old. I am 5ƍ, I weight 133/134lbs and I want to get that down to 125lbs prefferably by the end of March- but definately by summer! I need to lose the weight around my inner thighs and bum- but also generally all over. I have access to the school gym at lunch times but I dont want to lose my time with my friends over this. I use wii fit and active plus everyday and walk a lot. I do lots of excersize in my room, but it gets dark quite early so I cant go on long walks after school. I love swimming, but dont really know a schedule I could follow?
I eat healthily- but I dont restrict myself very much and I probably eat 1600 calories ish a day... is that right?
    Thanks,
    Alexis

Running will definitely help. Jog 30 mins every other day. The results will show sooner than you'd expect. And keep eating healthy. No greasy burgers!

We need to fix our calorie requirements based on the body type, physical activity, lifestyle etc. But usually its between 2000 to 2400 calories a day for a girl of your age group.
    You can try:
    1. Palm Tree Pose, 10 times
    2. Swaying Palm Tree Pose, 10 times
    3. Double Angle Pose, 10 times
    4. Triangle Pose, 5 times
    5. Sun Salutation, 12-15 rounds
    6. Relaxation Pose, 5 mins
    7. Twisting Cobra Pose, 10 times
    8. Head to Knee Pose, 5 times each leg
    9. Balance Pose, swapping hands and elbows alternatively
    10. Relaxation with abdominal breath, 10 mins
    11. Bellows Breathing, 5 mins
    12. Alternate Nostril Breathing, 5 mins
    Also try:
a)1. Drink one glass of water and practice Palm Tree Pose 10 times
    2. Drink second glass of water and practice Swaying Palm Tree 10 times
    3. Drink third glass of water and practice Waist Rotation Pose 10 times
    4. Drink fourth glass of water and go to the toilet and sit for 5 mins
    b) Drink lime and honey every morning mixed with room temperature water.
    c) Only drink lukewarm water whenever you are thirsty.
    d) Avoid fats, spices and oily food
    e) When hungry prefer seasonal fruits and vegetables instead

Wow. you are very lucky to be 5ƍ. I would love to be that height! lol. So never take it for granted. :) Well, since you only want to lose 8-10 lbs. you can definitely accomplish that by the end of March. You should get into an exercising schedule. Preferably 4-5 times a week. What worked for me to lose weight was using this workout dvd, Prevention belly, butt and thighs. It's a total of 30 minutes. I would wake up and do the dvd then in the afternoon I would do a 30 minute walk/jog.
As far as my diet it would consist of whole grains, oatmeal , cereal, fruit, vegetables and a weight watchers meal for dinner (but you could supplement that for cooking a lean protein and add a couple of vegetables on the side for your dinner. It's very good that you don't restrict your diet because that can lead to an eating disorder, but you may have to do a little tweaking in order to achieve your goal. Perhaps you could just swap a few food choices, and never drink a lot of soda. Diet soda is better if you have to drink any at all. Drink lots and lots of water and take your vitamins (with food). lol
The most important thing is to track your progress. It was good for me to keep a food/workout journal. I used it to keep track of what I was eating that day (plan ahead) and to make sure I was keeping up with my workouts. You should also keep track of weighing yoruself, to make sure you are going in the right direction.
These are just my suggestions because it is what has worked for me. Everyone's body is different and so responds differently to things. So try a few modifications and see how your body responds. Once you start a new workout/diet routine it may take up to 2 weeks to see a difference. Once you see a difference stick to the schedule and eventually the weight will come off. So be patient and listen to what your body is telling you. Please don't overdue it and even if you don't reach exactly the goal you set up remember that any pounds lost is an accomplishment and don't worry about being 'perfect' because that's a warped perception as it is. No one is supposed to be perfect. It's not even possible. Anyways, Good luck!. :)
