Ask:Help with weight loss
2012-02-04 02:04:23 +0000I currently weigh 235 lbs and would like to lose 50 lbs by July but the only problem is I work 9 pm-5 am Sunday-Thursday and I can't afford a gym membership right now (I just started a job) and lots of times I get in from work and am so tired that I'll just sleep all day (until time to go back to work). Ever since january I've been eating much healthier but haven't seen any weightloss so far. I am so determined to lose this weight and have been drinking ONLY water, eating only grilled chicken, vegetables, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (on whole grain bread). I usually eat two meals a day. What can I do to help with my weight loss?

2012-02-04 02:09:28 +0000Try adopting a short 10-20min/a day exercise routine into your schedule, and as long as it's rigorous enough to get your heart rate up, you should start losing weight. Also, try not to eat right before you go to bed, because it's harder for your body to metabolize it all.

Running, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, squats, brisk walking and power walking all help for weight loss but dieting helps more.
One of the healthiest weight loss diets is the DASH diet.
The healthy DASH diet can help you lose weight safely and effectively, lower your cholesterol and lower your blood pressure.
It is based on an eating plan rich in fruits and vegetables, and low-fat or non-fat dairy, with whole grains. It is a high fiber, low to moderate fat diet, and is rich in potassium, calcium, and magnesium.
You can see further details in a web search for "dash diet" + "lose weight".
