    I'm 13 and I wanna get in shape, I really don't know my weight I guess I'm 115 or 120 or 150 and I'm 5ƍ. I wanna flatten my stomach but still get muscles there, and I wanna make my thighs smaller. Also, I wanna get muscles in arms and legs. Any work out ideas? or/and weight loss ideas?

    One of the best ways of loosing weight is by building more lean muscle mass through weight training. This is because more muscle mass makes you burn more calories at rest. Develop a good cardio routine that you enjoy about three times a week. If you enjoy it you are more likely to stick with it. There are a lot of good websites and books dedicated to weight training and cardio routines. Do some research and you will find something that can help you get to your physical goals. Try to keep a positive view with your workouts as this will go a long way for having a productive workout as well as having the motivation to make it a new lifestyle. Eat a diet of fibrous vegetables, grains such as oats and barley (avoid wheat gluten) and lean protein. Eat smaller meals about six times a day as opposed a few large meals. This helps keep your metabolism burning faster. The faster your metabolism burns the more calories you will burn at rest. There is no fast fix or magic pill. It is just a lifestyle change that has to be made. Just a few facts that I have found beneficial.

    Put down that Big Mac and KFC bucket and start jogging everyday. A lot of what you eat affects the way your body looks, so if you eat foods high in saturated fat and cholesterol, you will be overweight and at risk of diabetes and high cholesterol. You need to change your diet if any exercise program is going to work for you.

    do cardio, an ab machine and eat right. basically, once you start running, you will lose weight and tone up all over the place. once you start doing your work on the ab wheel, you will get a better defined ab area. if you eat right the effects of what you're doing will come that much quicker.

    Stick with basic exercises that use groups of muscles at one time, and use lighter weights for higher reps (10-12 per set). If you don't have any weights, it's no big deal. Just do as many as you can of each exercise to fatigue your muscles.
    I suggest doing squats and lunges for your lower body, and dips (or pushups) and pull ups for your upper body. Try and make conscious decisions about what you eat, aiming for healthy foods.
    If you don't have access to a bike or treadmill, try going outside for a run (or running in place for a few minutes).
    Just remember to start out slow. Your going to be very sore the day after you start this if you do too much. Do one set of each the first week, and work up to 3-4 after that.
    In time, you'll see a difference.

    big difference between 115-150 pounds!!!! use tape measure...waist should measure 30-31 inches for good health, for a woman, not more.....
    at 5ƍ aim for waist measuring 30 or less(28,29), u can suck in breath and squeeze tape tight, they said thats ok on Oprah........... exercise get ur PROTEIN, thats ONLY way youll gain muscle while losing weight...cut calories... dont eat refined carbs like sugar pasta , white breads :) Have FUN!:) being positive whole time.... and surrounding yourself with good people, environment and music etc.... will help

    Of course you can loose weight and still get muscles. The weight you lose must be of the excess fat you have and not from your muscles tissue
