2007-07-26 14:36:05Please don't tell me to go see my doctor or eat a healthy diet. I need to lose weight and fast!!!
I have a wedding lined up that I have to fit into a size 10 dress which fit perfectly last fall, but I eat when I am stressed and since getting fitted I've been stressed enough to balloon up to an 18.
The seamstress says I need to lose 40 lbs - in 3 weeks - or shell out another $240 for a dress I hate anyway. I want to lose weight and know if I get down to a size I don't feel so miserable with I'll start going to the gym again and keep the weight off.
I do not want to do anything surgical or dangerous like weight loss drugs that damage your heart but will change type and proportions of what I eat, how often I eat, exercise, safe weight loss products, etc.

No pop, tea, just WATER! two proteins a day three veggies and two fruits, one starch, three carbs, one fat. WORKS I SWEAR! my mom has been on for six days with this and has lost seven pounds...without exercise...so with exercises you could be up to maybe 10 a week....and if you really kick your butt then you could lose your 40...if you can't get it all off then you could always use a corset. There is also a treatment called Lipodissolve...it's not a surgery. Medical spa's offer it...i don't know if you you're willing to shell out the money but it's better than having to get a new dress! Good luck and i bet with hard work you can do this!

But stay on a liquid diet after a couple of days (2 only!) then go to a complete liquid diet taking in your neutrients through milkshakes and such. But keep drinking water, drink as much water as you can. The shakes and pills are food only, water is your only drink.

2007-07-26 14:49:10i hate diets, but i swear by David Kirsch's method. i say go get you a copy of his book The Ultimate New York Body Plan! it's a two week program, but it really educates you on what to eat, what not to eat and WHY! the book also gives you a hard core work out plan and recipes for high protein, low carb meals! fabulous! i lost 7 lbs the first week, and that was just incorporating the "food" part of the diet, no exercise! could you imagine what i could have lost that week if i'd been working out!?
