2006-10-20 07:47:41I???m 24 male and 235lbs. I like to be 195lbs do you have any suggestion. Problem: I work in renovations so I need energy to get though the day. I come home late and quite tired. So working out is hard to do, but doable. What should I do?

vitamins and try the 3 day diet:
First Day
Breakfast:
Black Coffee or Tea,
1/2 grapefruit
1 slice-toast
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
Lunch:
1/2 cup of tuna
1 slice-toast
Dinner:
2 slices of any meat (about 3 0z.)
1 cup- string beans
1 cup- beets
1 small apple
1 cup- vanilla ice cream
Second Day
Breakfast:
1 egg
1/2 banana
1 slice-toast

2006-10-20 07:56:40no salty products. no fast food. lay off the white bread. no mayonaise and fried foods. basically limit your fat intake, and eat good carbs for energy....stay away from ground beef, it is very fattening....and stay away from non diet soda pop or sugared drinks...

-Eat less fat and sugar and drink more water (always order water and skip dessert).
-If possible, eat 5-6 smaller meals instead of 3 larger ones (this is difficult, but will raise your metabolism).
-Do 20+ minutes of cardio before breakfast most mornings (anything that will raise your heart rate will do).
-Work out with weights 3 times a week (if you can't afford a gym membership, just buy some dumbbells).
-Get 6-8 hours of sleep every night (preferably 8).
-Start drinking green tea and taking a multi-vitamin every day (recent scientific research suggests that green tea has potent fat-burning properties).
-Be consistent! Most people don't have the time or self-control to really get in shape and lose weight. Good luck.
