    I have lost 120 pounds in the last 16 months. I did this on my own with some basic knowledge that I found on the internet about nutrition and calorie counting. I joined a gym about 2 weeks ago and just started soliciting help from a personal trainer. I started out at 308 pounds, and now I weigh 188. I have come a long way.
    Here are my issues:
    I have 30 pounds left to lose. I have a lot of psychological scars from being so heavy for many years of my life. Even though I am healthier, I still feel awkward in my own skin. Will this pass eventually?
    Plus, since the weight loss (and I've had 3 kids in the last 4 years), I look like a deflated balloon. Do you think that more weight loss and weight training will firm up my skin, or am I looking at having to get plastic surgery down the line?
    Here is a link to pictures of me before my weight loss, and one of me that was taken in Oct. I've lost a little more since then. My husband also lost about 80 pounds.
