    I am 20, 5ft 6in and 206lbs. My start weight was 211 lbs. So far I have been going to the gym for 3 weeks and have lost ONLY 5lbs. To be honest I expected to lose more weight, because I feel I have been working VERY hard at the gym and have been making alot of food sacrifices and to only lose 5lbs is a bit annoying to me. I expected to lose 2lbs a week, but it seems as though I am going at a steady rate of only 1 lb per week. What should I do? I can admit that I have been very anxious to reach my goal weight of 130lbs or 150lbs (Haven't fully decided yet). How do I except my current weight loss and look at it as one step closer to get healthier?
    Lastly, I can admit that I did have some slips here and there in my diet. Could that have anything to do with it?

    I hate to say it, but a slip in your diet could be holding you back. There are also some foods that seem healthy but are actually pretty bad for you that you should avoid, like orange juice which is very high in sugar. Also, drink skim milk. Avoid energy drinks other than gatorade (monster, red bull, etc.) and don't eat too many eggs which are high in cholesterol. I know that you are frustrated, but if you keep working at it, I KNOW you will reach your weight loss goal!! Good luck!! By the way, you should be very proud of yourself for keeping up with going to the gym. That's pretty hard to do!!

    Forget the gym,it had nothing to do with weight loss,eat lots of meat,eggs,fish,NO bread,no pasta,no rice,just lots of meat,never go hungry
