    110% agree with Lester. He is a smart guy and knows exactly what he is talking about. I would have said the exact same thing if he didn't beat me to it. You can run, jog, jump, workout as much as you want but if you follow it up with eating pizzas, chips, and junk food you will not see any significant weight loss or inches lost of your waist.

    It doesn't matter how much or long you run if you don't control your calorie intake you will not lose weight.
    Running 1 mile burns about 100 calories.
    It takes 3500 calories to lose one pound.
    You can always over eat no matter how much exercise you do.
    Running is a good way to burn calories, but eating healthy is the other part of the equation.
    If you control your diet and continue your exercise you should start seeing results in a couple of weeks, easy.
