Ask:My mom doesn t support me in my weight loss
2012-01-01 19:04:34 +0000I am trying to lose weight (duh) but I told her of my goal and she said this: I don't think you'll get down to single digits. With yourself youd be lucky to get down to a size 10.
Then she goes and buys 4 freakin' bags of chips because oh they're two for four dollars get your money's worth. Then she's always buying chocolates because oh look honey they're on sale. She wants to lose weight to, probably just as much as me. I asked if I could go to the gym with my friend and she said ure, then when it was time she said oh honey maybe another day. She says that all the time. Or I talked with my doctor with her in the room I might add, and he even said this is a family effort if someone wants to loose weight. He said no more pop, (which once she bought 10 freakin' bottle because oh look they're on sale) and gave me a list of foods I should eat. I can't even show it to her she always says oh we'll look at it another night. I can't talk to her about it, because she does all the same things. Its not my fault that I have gained weight. The city I live in has no public transport and they expect us to pay 1,000 freakin' dollars plus extra to join a sport. Even my school run ones are 500 dollars, because oh all the money goes to the sport kids anyway...
How can I get her to support me? For anyone that knows its hard to avoid something that tastes good that is in literally every room of the house,
