    Well, as most of you know it's Sunday night/Monday morning right now. I was outside smoking (unhealthy I know) getting ready to watch Family Guy, and I decided to multi-task and watch Family Guy while trying to find Dexatrim success stories.
    Needless to say, I found the complete opposite. People's friends dying, high blood pressure, etc. The reason why I decided to find some stories is because I've been nagging my mother to buy me Dexatrim for about a week, give or take, and Thursday night, she finally did. Friday I took one before work (3:30-10:00 EST) and took one at about 1:30 PM. Around 5, I noticed my hands were shaking uncontrollably (spelling?). It was even worse because I work at a pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician, so I have to write prescriptions for about 3.5 hours out of my work day.
    I kept taking it because I figured if anything happens, I'm a strong fighter, because my sign is Leo and deep down, to me, that means 'don't give up', and I even gotta tattoo of it to...

    There is no magic weight-loss pill, supplement, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Brad Pitt didn???t get cut for Fight Club by drinking green tea, and you won???t either.
    Walk for 30 minutes every day, including weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. Do at least 30 minutes of weight training each week. Do 60 minutes of additional, higher intensity cardio each week.
    Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Get rid of anything in your diet that is non-nourishing: mayonnaise and other condiments, salt, vinegar, white flour products and canned foods.
    Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. Don???t starve yourself during the day, but if you don't wake up famished, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed.
    Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Turn off the TV and the computer. Sleep is vitally important.
    Don't consume alcohol??”alcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value. Some people will argue that alcohol has some health benefits when consumed in moderation??”I???m not debating that??”but we???re talking about weight loss here. Lay off the booze if you want to lose the fat.
    Drink lots of water, then drink more. Not tea, not Gatorade, not milk. Water. If your urine isn???t almost clear, you need to drink more water.

    Dexatrim and similar OTC diet pills are essentially legal speed and often a bunch of ingredients never shown to be effective in controlled trials. Adding nicotine to that makes getting the shakes a no-brainer. To continue taking that garbage even knowing the facts indicates a nearly absent brain, and using astrology to justify it pretty much seals the deal.
    If you have an actual weight problem you need to see a doctor and/or a registered dietitician to get on a diet and exercise program that is appropriate to you. No do it yourself chemistry/drug experiments, but sensible eating and exercise.
    If you have a job, one has to wonder why you need to "nag mommy" to get your diet pills? While they are mostly crap, you'd be better off spending money on those than cigarettes or whatever else you are smoking.
    Figure out whether you have a mental disorder set around food and weight issues or whether you want to be healthy. And for goodness sakes when your body tells you something you are taking is toxic, listen to it instead of shopping for a cure on the Internet.
