2007-07-24 22:48:14I have 3 very young children, and i need to lose weight. Since my kids take up most of my time I don't have a lot of time to focus on the weight loss. However, I do to to lose some weight so i need a convenient and easy to stick to weight loss program. I know they are hard to come by so if anyone has any suggestions it would be great thank you!!

2007-07-24 22:58:27Im sorry to tell you that there is no quick way to lose weight. Its not easy. but there are simple tricks.
1. regard all soda as 1.5 pounds in can, on average, that is what you will gain if you drink it.
2. WALK ALL THE TIME! by a pedometer at a drugstore. you should be taking at least 5000 steps a day.
3. dont let your metabolism drop! eat small healthy snacks a around (5) times a day instead of meals. a port ion of anything is about a deck of cards sized. the body is not designed to eat 3 meals. by grazing and eating slowly you body has more time to tell you your full takes abotu 20 minutes to respond. the moment youre hungry, your metabolism has dropped and you are more likely to eat more. dont let youself get hungry. dont starve yourself.
it will take awile, but its worth it.

2007-07-24 22:59:07weight loss programs dont really work that great. u do them and then u gain the weight again becuz ur just going through a temporary change.
u could try some though. i suggest the special k diet where u eat the cereal and only the cereal but then u could get bored of that just cereal thing.
i suggest vegetarion patties and different vegetarian microwavable things. theyre like 80 calories per patty and they might taste bad at first theyre really ok with ketchup and a grill.
smoothies are tastey and low in calories. so u could base ur diet on them of course not all fruits r low in fat so u'd have to void some of them.
then theres soup. u could make a BIG pot of low fat soup wen u have the time and then wenever ur hungry just put it in the m icrowave and eat that. its really filling.
i cant think of any others but heres some tips. drink green tea, coffee, and water. they boost ur metabolism and then u wont have to diet as much.
dont eat late at night. it makes u gain weight becuz u dont digest as many calories at night.
small portions every 3 or 4 hours is a better way to eat but that might be time consuming:

2007-07-25 02:10:01Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and exercise, you will not have problem losing some weight and fats.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year. My whole family, hubby and two growing boys eats the same as me, except they take more complex carbs because they are more active. We enjoy dark chocolates and yoghurt too! We especially like frozen yoghurt.
