2007-12-30 14:01:40I recently decided to go one a diet to loose some weight. Especially on my stomache. I want to loose it the healthy way. So i want advice from people who have had experience on succesful weight loss to help me please. So whats the QUICKET and EASIEST way to loose weight without takeing diet pills?

Buy a pedometer - typically $12-$20
(pedometer may have to be set for stride -
you can buy a model that doesn't - starts working immediately)
Walk 10,000 steps on the pedometer every single day
Regulate your eating and you will lose weight that you will keep off
A friend of mine swears by his pedometer
He has lost over 30 pounds in a few months with no weight back

Honestly, there is no magic diet + workout. You have to be honest with yourself and evaluate what you are eating. Make sure you eat healthy food. Also, staying away from sodium rich foods might prevent bloating and thus make your stomach feel smaller. Eat fiber-rich foods, this will not only give you nutrients, but it helps your digestive track so you won't be backed up with poo.
Do lots of cardio. Cardio, cardio, cardio. And cardio. Haha. Cardio is the only thing that will make you really shed pounds. Eating healthy will only get you so far. Activities like swimming really get your whole body moving and blasts fat.
To look skinnier you will want to tone up by lifting weights and whatnot. Muscle does weigh more than fat though, so you might weigh more than you like, but you'll look skinnier. Pilates is a great workout that targets your abs.

2007-12-30 14:13:09Well, it depends on what you mean by quick. :) I lost 60 pounds in about 8 months, which is a little less than 10 pounds a month. That's quick enough for me. I did it by changing one thing at a time, adding exercise and diet changes as time went along. I've still got about 30 pounds to go, so I'm still adding exercises and diet changes. I think the consistent changes have made it interesting...and much, much easier.
